Jack Houghton
Director
A bit about Jack
Jack has always been a very ambitious individual and knew he wanted to own his own business from an early age. Jack has vast experience in the Construction Industry having started out as a Site Labourer, he moved through the ranks, completing various qualifications in Construction Management and Operations and eventually found himself in a Contract Management role. Jack's operational experience ensures all the working parts are in place for the business to thrive. When not working, you will find Jack out on the bank fishing.

Random fact: I’ve had heart surgery twice.
Hobbies: Fishing, building things.

Craig Poole
Director
A bit about Craig
After 22 years in the flooring industry, Craig realised his dream of running his own flooring company when he partnered with Jack and set up Avid Flooring. Craig's vast knowledge and passion for flooring means clients can trust the correct products and procedures are being used and followed in each project, no matter how unique or complex. Outside of work, Craig coaches a youth football team and in his spare time he likes to indulge in his other passion, which is fishing.

Random fact: I've played football at the Millennium Stadium.
Hobbies: Fishing and Newcastle United.

Emily Owen
Finance Manager
A bit about Emily
Emily has spent most of her career in Customer Service roles, with the last 15 years providing accounting support in the Finance Sector. Emily prides herself in ensuring that the day to day financial side of the business runs smoothly. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her two young children, both of which are football fanatics.

Random fact: I own a pet Chameleon.

Quaid Wilson
Operative
A bit about Quaid
Quaid came on board in 2022 as a Trainee, but has quickly developed into a competent Floor Layer. In the time that Quaid has been with the company, he has become a highly valued member of the Avid team and is continually looking to learn new skills. Quaid has also recently become a proud Father of a baby boy.

Sam Neil
Operative
A bit about Sam
Sam has worked within the flooring industry for several years, gaining a wealth of experience in both domestic and commercial settings. A competent and confident fitter, Sam regularly oversees flooring projects and provides support to his team members.

Keiron Baker
Operative
A bit about Keiron
Keiron has worked within the flooring industry for several years, with a background in high end domestic projects. Keiron has rapidly become a key member of the team and has effortlessly fit in with the rest of the Avid team members.
